I want to take this opportunity and thank you for recommending Lenny Thorne from "Why Not" to take care of my roofing needs last December. At the time I was in the process of selling the house and needed urgent repair to get it ready for the market. He went and took care of the situation but additionally went above and beyond the initial repairs since the repairs got complicated as more shingles began to become loose during the sale and inspection of the house. This caused concerns from the buyers. Lenny returned multiple times to repair and make sure that all issues were resolved. He addressed the repairs in a timely fashion racing with Winter weather conditions.

Additionally, he had to "deal" with the buyers calling him directly many times inquiring about the roof status. Lenny was very professional and addressed all concerns from me as well as the buyers. I was COMPLETELY satisfied with his work but more important the buyers were satisfied as well and we were able to close on the house with no issues. Again, I want to thank you for his recommendation and let you know that I will not hesitate to contract his home improvement services anytime in the future.

Description Of Work: We had our two story home sided. From start to finish it was very professional. Lenny was very informative to us about the product that was going to be used on our home. The crew that worked on our home was very neat. Everything was cleaned up daily. My neighbor who was watching them do the high peaks said that they kept going up and down the ladder until it fit perfectly. We are so pleased with the work and receive may compliments on our home. We them install basement replacement windows for us. We originally were going to replace the windows with glass block window, but with Lenny's information we switched to casement windows and we were very pleased with the installer and the windows. We had to have a roof replaced in the winter. This process was not easy for the installers since they had to take off 4 layers of old roof in the middle of winter. They cleaned up everyday the best that they could due to the weather but as soon as the first nice day in spring arrived they were here to finish up the cleanup. What we liked the most is they DID NOT tarp the house. They only tore off what they could replace that day.

He returns phone calls usually the same day unless I placed the call after office hours, then It was returned the following business day. Also any problems that have come up, Lenny is always on top of them never making you feel like you are a bother to him, I do have to add that I referred Lenny to a friend who had "storm chasers" tell her she needed a roof, gutters, and new siding. Lenny went out to look and was honest and told her that her home did not need any of the above.

Description Of Work: I had new vinyl siding, contrasting trim and 16 windows installed. Lenny provided samples and gave me time to be sure of the color I selected. The whole project went smoothly and quickly. Excellent work!

Description Of Work: Why Not Complete Home Improvements, Inc people are remodeling my parent’s house now. It includes painting, wood floor refinishing and windows. They have repaired cracks in the drywall.

Description Of Work: He came out to give me an estimate for my flat roof and awning where I had hail damage done. He did fasten down my awning for me for free when he came out so that it would be  secure.

Description Of Work: Lenny Thorne told me he was "going to change the way I think of contractors" and he did. Lenny is a good contractor. They do exist. Oh My God they do exist. Miracles do happen in modern times!!! I was honest and up front with him, and he was the same way with me. No troubles. The men who worked for him were kind gentlemen who acted with  class. The men who worked for him were NOT SUBCONTRACTED WHICH IS FABULOUS!!! Lenny at the end of the project and on his way to pick up his check today for the job specifically inspected the roof and down spouts, and
gutters to make sure his men did a good job. Lenny then wanted to see if my parents, and sister were content and wanted to hear everything of how we thought. Lenny answered all our questions, and he explained everything on his end of the project. Since my parents bought bigger downspouts than what they originally had when they bought the house, and my dad kept telling me about how it looked crooked I mentioned this to Lenny and he addressed the issue right away by mentioning installing an extention to the gutter (without it looking weird) by one of his workers who lived in the area at a time that worked well with his worker's schedule=YAY!!!

He told us that a worker of his will come out to my parents house this coming week to fix the issue. This issue was not a mistake on Lenny's or his workers' part. Lenny did not charge us for this extention on the 
downspouts. My sister had a question about why the chimney cover only came  in red, and his explaination was detailed and complete. The company who makes the chimney covers only make specific
colors, and if she got real bricks the price would jump higher than what was budgeted. Also real bricks are red. The variety is limited.

Lenny took alot of time in KINDLY explaining any and all questions and comments we had the day he picked up the check. I liked how he came to physically pick up the check to see our  faces and the finished work.  It is a classier  thing to do instead of just sending a bill in the  mail. Lenny owns his work. In life one has more respect for someone who owns their work. After Lenny got the check Lenny did another inspection of the  whole house to see all was in order, and again mentioned to me how he was going to get his worker on the extention of the downspout based on the worker's schedule. Lenny was a treat to work with Thank God.

My parents are on a budget and this was the BEST PRICE/MOST AFFORDABLE For them, and I did alot of research on Angie's List and other places.Trust is earned. I like how Lenny and his workers are all down-to-earth classy men. The workers went to work right away and got the job done fast. The rain was the only problem getting the job done in our eyes.
 
When Lenny clarified this issue with the downspout in front of my parents' house was not a mistake on his part,but just that my parents bought bigger downspouts I sensed he was telling the truth.

 I sense Lenny is honest. That makes us happy, well, me more. One task complete for my parents.
